Wokefield Parish comprises the hamlets of Bloomfield Hatch, Grazeley Green, Goddard’s Green and Wokefield, and a small section of neighbouring Burghfield Common. The principal purpose of this web site is to provide communication to the approximately 400+ residents of this dispersed parish. Clancy Docwray have announced the next set of road closure as the project to connect electricity sub stations in Pingewood and Bramley progresses.
Starting on 30th October, this phase, which will last approximately 9 months, will see progressive closures of Palmers Lame, Riders Lane, Burnthouse lane and Pingewood Road South. The first closure will see Palmer’s Lane and Riders Lane closed from 30th October until 1st February 2027.

Overnight on the 12/9, offender(s) gained access to the barn and tack room by cutting the padlocks. Two chainsaws and a hedge trimmer were stolen from the barn and a messy search carried out in the tack room. COUNCILLOR
1. There is a vacancy on the above Council caused by the resignation of Councillor Richard Thorne
2. A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days (not counting a Saturday or Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a Bank Holiday) from the date below ten electors for the ward/parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.
